Michelle & Michael have just been the sweetest since the moment I met them.  During their engagement session, they were such naturals in front of the camera as well so I knew that they were going to be awesome to photograph on their wedding day.  And guess what?  They didn’t disappoint!  Michael is one of the most cooperative grooms I have ever worked with and Michelle, while just as awesome, looked absolutely STUNNING in her Maggie Sottero dress.  Seriously, it is probably one of my favorite wedding gowns to date. Even crazier-she did the alterations on it herself!

One detail I absolutely have to point out before moving on is the cake in the photo below.  Maybe it’s just me, but most carrot cakes I encounter are not trimmed out quite as fully with nuts as this one.   But I couldn’t get over how it added just the right amount of a rustic elegance to the cake to really tie in to the rest of the decor.  The little details do make such a big difference.

So these two cheated and saw each other before the official first look during the day, but I was there for the moment when they saw each other all dressed up and ready to walk down the aisle.
