Lisa was a dream bride.  She was on top of everything, cared about doing what she could to get the best pictures possible, and most importantly, she’s as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  It was such an honor to be part of Lisa and Travis’ wedding day.

As she was putting on the finishing touches, the tears began to fall.

Much like many of my couples this year, they opted for a first look.  What an experience this one was! Typically I like the groom to be in place (and facing away from where the bride will walk in) before the bride shows up.  We THOUGHT Travis was in place, however, when we showed up, he was nowhere to be found!  As we began making phone calls, here comes a truck behind us with none other than the groom inside.  To keep him from seeing Lisa before it was time, she hid in my car with my photo reflector as a shield to keep Travis from peeping in.  But it was all worth it, check out that expression on Travis’ face.   I just love it when you can tell how much the groom loves the bride just from a single photo.

Every last detail of the day was rustic and gorgeous and just so well put together.
