These two are so sweet! Their elegant fairy tale theme was absolutely perfect for this late summer afternoon wedding at Reid’s Orchard. So I’m just going to apologize in advance for the image overload. So much I want to share from this beautiful wedding! We even managed to dodge the rain that showed up earlier in the day.
Because their wedding was to take place so close to sunset, and we were already expecting to deal with an overcast sky for much of the afternoon, the bride and groom opted to go ahead and do a first look to make sure they had time for portraits. While I would never ask a bride to change how they feel about those traditions, these two absolutely made the right decision. By the time we finished family formals, it was almost dark and would have left little time for bride and groom portraits!
I think the only time we had sunshine all day was right at ceremony time.
Can’t you just feel the love in this father/daughter dance?
The wedding party and guests were so much fun and not afraid to hit the dance floor. Though I did have to suggest to the bride and groom to get out there and enjoy it too. 😉
