Catie and Mike recently stopped in Kentucky to make a visit home.  Currently, they’re in the Chicago area, but I met with them last summer when they came in for a visit and knowing they’d be in again in October, we planned an engagement session.  At our first meeting, we bonded over drinks from The Creme Coffee House and discussed their August 2017 wedding.  So when they showed up for their engagement session a couple weeks ago, it really was like meeting up with old friends! These two are so sweet and I love how they wanted something different for their engagement photos.  We started at Smother’s Park and roamed the streets and Catie introduced me to a few new urban shooting areas I had no idea existed!  I was like a kid in a candy store and I’m so glad they put up with me and my excitement for the shoot.  Haha! Their wedding next year is going to be a blast and I can’t wait.
