I debated on putting all this on social media instead of a blog post, but I kinda feel like there’s just too much to put on Facebook, or instagram, or wherever.

Let me start by saying this, I have some great clients.  I’m so thankful for everyone I’ve been able to work with over the years and I’m excited to see what 2018 has in store.

With that said, there is one pricing change to come for portrait sessions.  All session fees will be increasing by $5.  So not too much and hopefully that doesn’t scare anyone away.

This past fall I experienced a long string of no call no shows. So effective immediately, all session fees will be due at the time of booking your session.  Your appointment won’t be officially booked until payment is received.  I’m going to spare you all the business details, but if I’m going to continue to function as a business (as hopefully you want me to!!) then this is a change that I have to make.

This change will not effect anyone currently booked, just new bookings.  You will be  emailed payment info when you start the booking process.

Secondly, I know you all are tired of all the businesses posting “Oh Facebook is hiding my posts so you don’t see them,” and all that jazz.  However, I’m here to tell you it’s the truth.  And just this week, the Facebook creator himself said that Facebook will be making a return to focusing on friends and not businesses.

So I’m asking each of you, if you will, to sign up for my newsletter.  It’s the only way I know for sure you’ll receive info for important things like mini-session dates or special events like Santa photos.

I don’t send an e-mail everyday so you won’t get them constantly.  Your e-mail addresses are safe and you aren’t going to get a bunch of spam e-mail for signing up.  I promise I’ll try not to be too annoying with them, and honestly you probably won’t receive more than 12-15 a year.

You can sign up to receive those e-mails just by clicking here.

You can also find my Facebook group here and my instagram here.
