I cannot believe I haven’t blogged this session before now! I really thought I had especially since senior photography is one of my favorite things to photograph. But when I discovered I hadn’t, I knew I needed to change that. Like now. This session is so gorgeous. Lexi has style in a very classy and kinda vintage way and her images are totally drool worthy.

Hailing in from Ohio for her senior session, we managed to find a time to do her photos while she was here visiting family for a few days last October.

Our session began at Panther Creek Park and ended in the downtown Owensboro and Smothers Creek Park area. We were shooting at a time of day I don’t typically recommend. Fortunately, she brought enough family with her I was able to put them to work. ;). Her poor aunts arms got a workout using my diffuser to block the sun, but I happen to think all the hard work was well worth it.

And can we just take a minute to appreciate that the flowers that were in bloom at Panther’s Creek just happened to coordinate with her sweater?

Lexi participates in show choir and had this stunning dress to wear for her session. Isn’t it gorgeous? I’ve been sitting on this image for months since I couldn’t share until the costume made its debut.

Senior style and all the little details that end up being a part of their session is one of the reasons I love senior photography so much. There’s so much opportunity for personality to shine through with senior portraits.
