Believe it or not, this was only my second time at The Arling, the first having been when we did Brittany & William’s engagement session there as well!

I always joke with anyone I photograph outdoors, that it will be windy. It’s like I bring it with me. And sure enough, Brittany and William’s wedding day was no exception! It. Was. Windy. Brittany’s veil kept wanting to fly off her head. Not only that, the wind was coooold. Thankfully everyone rolled with it, because what else can you do?!

Not only were we braving the wind, but it was extremely overcast. Until ceremony time. Right as the ceremony was about to begin, the clouds parted to let in just enough gorgeous glowy light that shined right behind the couple during the ceremony. It was genuinely stunning!
